About Barbara Cowley & S. Fulani Butler

Barbara Cowley and S. Fulani Butler provide a unique team approach for each of their clients. Each has lived in Boston for more than 20 years and has decades of experience in the real estate industry.

A former New York City native, Barbara and her husband raised their children in the South End over the last 25 years. As a broker since 1979, Barbara has represented buyers and sellers throughout the South End, Back Bay and other neighborhoods. She has intimate knowledge of most of the buildings in the area and has developed strong ties to the neighborhoods through her community involvement.

Fulani was also from New York City where she developed an interest in property restorations in some of the emerging neighborhoods. She brought that passion here to Boston and began renovating beautiful townhomes in the South End. She brings her vision, skill and personal approach to each client’s home. Together this team offers a distinct marriage of different perspectives.

They both embrace a hands-on method of working with each client according to his/her/their goals. They position each property according to in-depth market knowledge and develop a custom marketing strategy.

Barbara is a member of the Greater Boston Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. She contributes her time and resources to the Human Rights Campaign, the City School and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Fulani has been affiliated with the Big Sister Association and Project Place (a non profit that helps the homeless). She is co-president of her block association in the South End. A dragonboater as a supporter of family and friends living with cancer and an avid pickleball player. World travel has connected her with potential clients and expanded her enthusiasm with photography.
