Midtown Real Estate

Downtown Crossing is among the oldest neighborhoods in the United States with primary roots dating back to the 17th century. Once the 19th century hit, the area had been regarded as a retail center with the opening of the flagship store of Filene’s. The once Beaux Arts building stood at the current site of what is now home to the Millennium Tower.

Many would associate the Downtown Crossing neighborhood with being a bustling daytime district with shopping, business and industry during by day, and quieter at night. However, today the Downtown and Midtown areas are not only flooded with bustling business, but they are becoming residential areas with numerous buildings being built. The close proximity to Back Bay, The Boston Common, Beacon Hill, Financial District and a handful of blocks to the water make for a prime location to live.
